Bio
IN 2009 I sent an indie album I made in my bedroom to a Portuguese label, LAD Records, and they loved it and released it (Listen Here). I had also made a lot of electronic music, and sent an EDM/Dubstep EP to a dance label, Royal Fetish Recordings, and they loved that too. As I was deep into the electronic scene, I decided to focus on that. I released my debut single, Mad Wax in 2011 (Listen Here) and went on to grow a passionate following in American colleges, releasing singles across various EDM labels worldwide.
In 2015, I took a break and traveled through Europe and Asia, during which time I wrote my first book—a travel journal titled In Fields of Nettles. While many might have caught the travel bug, I caught the writing bug. I took a protracted break from music to write my first novel, Treoir: Curse on the Island, and I now have new novels for which I am seeking publishers.
𝙇𝞗𝙒𝙁𝞘𝞦 is my new music project. The sound draws deep inspiration from ‘90s and 2000s icons like Kruder & Dorfmeister, Air, and Zero 7, infused with modern influences such as Khruangbin and the emerging Russian duo Fractured Beats. Lowfix blends fat beats, addictive basslines with world music, soul, jazz and funk to create an eclectic, immersive sonic palette—bringing atmospheric textures, reflective lyricism and rich melodies. Listen to my first track Here.
